Registration Information

Get started by clicking on one of the databases to search. An Internet Login page will prompt you for your login information. 

The Internet Login page asks for my Internet ID.*  How do I find that information?

               If you have an active U of M e-mail address: 

At the login page, enter your Internet ID (the portion before the @umn.edu of your e-mail address) and your account password to log in. (This password will be the same as your U of M e-mail account password.)

If you do not have a U of M e-mail address:

At the login page, click on the Internet ID Initiation/Password set button. You will be asked for your UMAA membership number (located on your membership card), your birth date, and your home phone number, and to create a new password. If we can verify your personal information against our records, we will display your login ID (Internet ID). If we cannot verify your information please contact the UMAA for assistance at (612)624-9658 or (800)862-5867. 

If you are a Carlson School of Management graduate:

Your Internet ID and password should be the same as your Carlson School Alumni Online login information. If you need additional assistance please contact the Carlson School Help Desk at (612)625-5550.

 * “Internet ID” is a general term used by the U of M to describe the unique login ID that is used for multiple internet-based U of M services, including Libraries Publications Online. Creating an “Internet ID” does not activate a U of M e-mail account and does not allow access to other U of M services.
