U of M North Texas Alumni Association Supports the Big 10 College Fair

On Tuesday, April 11^th, at the Westin Galleria Hotel, the Big 10 held its local college fair.  About 200 North Texas area high students attended this event.  The forum gave them the opportunity to ask questions and gather information on the schools of the Big 10 so that they may make informed decisions.

Many of the questions asked were centered around admissions requirements, financial aid for out-of-state students and of course, the Minnesota weather.  Those students showing specific interest in the U of M in many cases had direct ties to the university.  They had a parent or close relative that had influenced them. 

Rachelle Hernandez and Keri Risic from the U of M Admissions office were supported locally by members of the North Texas Alumni Association.  That group included Harald Mallwitz (President), Paul Eaton (Vice President), Jan Rollow (past President) and Warren Witt (past Vice President).
