An alumnus who holds a bachelor’s degree and  two graduate degrees from the University of  Minnesota and the School of Dentistry, Dr. Arnold Hill has played a significant role in orthodontic education and professional development in Minnesota. During a 30-year teaching career at Mayo Clinic and many years in private orthodontic practice, Dr. Hill has served on, and as president of, nearly every orthodontic and dental professional organization in the state.

Despite these demands, Hill agreed without hesitation to chair the capital campaign for the school’s Simulation Clinic. His tremendous leadership and ability to reconnect practicing dentists and alumni were largely responsible for the funding of the most technologically advanced simulation clinic in the world. Hill’s contributions have ensured the University’s national reputation for educating dental practitioners at the highest level of performance.
