We all thank you Professor Seth E. Werner of the Carlson School of Management (http://www.carlsonschool.umn.edu/)., and student Jamie M. Miller for sending us this “token” board game and sponsoring the North Texas Chapter event. The raffle was also made possible by the generous contribution of the Mesquite Championship Rodeo. Blake Buckley and the Mesquite Championship Rodeo (http://www.mesquiterodeo.com/) will be contributing $2.00 per attendee to the North Texas Chapter Endowed Scholarship for a total of $34.00. This Scholarship, once established, will help send a North Central Texas student to the
We all thank you Blake Buckley and the Mesquite Championship Rodeo (http://www.mesquiterodeo.com/) for your generosity and helping to sponsor this event. After conducting the business part of the event, and awarding the Gopheropoly raffle prize, we adjourned to enjoy the rodeo. If you have never been to a Rodeo, this is really worth seeing. There was bull riding, calf roping, Cowgirl Barrel Racing, and Mutton Bustin’ (Youngsters don’t just watch the rodeo; they are part of it! Boys and girls will ride an actual sheep in the Justin Mutton Bustin’ event. Each boy and girl will be judged on how well they ride for six seconds and how well their wooly mount bucks), team roping, and saddle bronc riding to name a few.
