11/10/2008 3:45 PMWe had a group of 18 alumni meet at the new Wing Luke Asian Museum in Seattle's International District for the "Chinatown" walking tour. After learning about the history of the district and its buildings, we stopped into a dried herb store and also one that sold Eastern medicines.
Next was dim sum lunch at the Jade Garden - packed on a Saturday. With guidance from Donna Wolter and Marian Lowe, we ordered appropriately and enjoyed a delicious meal.
Following lunch we had all afternoon to tour the museum at our own pace.
