With its September/October issue in 2001, Minnesota magazine began its 100th year of publication. While the alumni journal has changed its name, its design, and its style numerous times over the decades, it has never strayed from its mission to communicate with alumni about their alma mater. The past issues of the magazine are housed in the alumni association's library. Many of the bound volumes from the early 1900s are well-thumbed and brittle, but their pages offer a rich, precious record of the life of the University of Minnesota and the world events that have touched its alumni over the past hundred years.
