Networking
Alumni Association members are alumni, friends, University faculty and staff, parents, and students--all people who care about the University of Minnesota. As a member of the Alumni Association, you are part of one of the largest networks in the state. There are about 60,000 members who, like you, care about the U of M.

The Alumni Association gives you the opportunity to meet and network with these other members at Homecoming, reunions, the Alumni Association Annual Celebration, and through chapters, societies, and more.

LinkedIn Group

The University of Minnesota Alumni Association is an official group on LinkedIn - a business-oriented networking site used primarily for professional connections.

Chapters

Over 60 alumni chapters help graduates and friends make the U of M connection in their communities throughout Minnesota, across the United States, and around the world.

Collegiate Societies

The Alumni Association sponsors 18 college-based alumni societies and four affiliate societies.  Societies provide alumni with an important link not only to the Alumni Association and the University of Minnesota, but to their collegiate unit, its faculty, students, and alumni.

Interest Groups

Alumni Interest Groups link alumni in areas of special interest that span collegiate and geographic boundaries. Alumni Interest Groups are connected with and support the mission of a Univeristy department or organization. Membership in an interest group is free with Alumni Association membership.
