University of Minnesota Alumni Association Career Resources

  • Career Planning Workshop - Considering going back to school or making a career change? Schedule an appointment for a consultation with a lifework consultant or sign up for a Career Planning Workshop at the office of Career and Lifework Planning through the College of Continuing Education. Alumni Association members receive a 20% discount.
  • University Counseling & Consulting Services - Interested in a career assessment?  Schedule an interview with University Counseling & Consulting Services.  Alumni Association members save $51 on a Career Assessment Package through the U's Counseling and Consulting Service. 
  • Continuing Professional Development - Interested in honing existing skills or learning new ones?  The College of Continuing Education has a number of Continuing Professional Development Courses.  Alumni Association members receive a discount of 10% on continuing professional education courses.
  • GoldPass - Utilize GoldPass, the U of M’s online jobs and career database. GoldPass connects students and alumni with employers, volunteer organizations and internships across the country.   If you are an employer, GoldPass allows you to post job openings for our alumni and students.
  • U of M Libraries - Research jobs through the U of M Libraries reference page. The U of M Libraries offer thorough resources for researching careers and companies. Alumni Association members have access to two comprehensive databases full of information for researching compaines and preparing for interviews.   • Alumni Chapters - Keep your network strong – participate in a Chapter event.  There are chapters throughout the state, nation and world!
