The University of Minnesota Alumni Association serves the University of Minnesota in a unique way. It is both the University of Minnesota's Department of Alumni Relations and it is an independent nonprofit association, governed by a volunteer board of directors.

Favorite U of M memory: Having come from another country (Turkey), I was very impressed with how everyone treated me and I was very impressed with how beautiful the campus was.

Favorite U of M memory: Minnesota Royal on the St. Paul Campus was always a highlight with so many activities including skits, livestock showmanship, and Olympic events.

with my daughters Julie and Elizabeth and their families.
Favorite U of M memory:  Stepping on campus for the first time in the fall
of 1966, as a transplanted Kansan, and going to a Gopher football game in
Memorial Stadium.
