Q. Do you need to have a degree from the University of Minnesota to join the alumni association?
A. The University of Minnesota Alumni Association welcomes alumni, friends, faculty, staff, students and parents into the membership ranks.

Q. How do I join an alumni society?
A. Membership in a Collegiate Society is free with your Alumni Association membership. On the membership form, simply select the group(s) you desire to be affilitated with. For more information, click the links above or call the Alumni Association, 612-624-2323 or 800-UM-ALUMS (862-5867).

Q. How do I join a chapter?
A. Actually, you are already a member of a chapter if you live in one of our chapter areas. Chapters are located in many major urban areas outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul, throughout the world, and several smaller areas as well.
