1. Chapters should identify one alumni volunteer who is knowledgeable about your chapter activities, enjoys computers, and has the time to update your site.
2. You must have Internet Explorer (version 5.0 or above) or Firefox to use the Web tool.
PLEASE NOTE: The Web tool does not currently work with Windows Vista. We are still awaiting a patch that will solve the incompatability. If you are on Vista, we recommend you use a current version of Mozilla Firefox, which can be downloaded free here.
3. Contact Chris Coughlan-Smith (1-800-UM-ALUMS, 612-624-2323 or cough003@umn.edu) to arrange a time for training via telephone conference call.

- Upcoming events and registration
- Latest news
- Promos/Sidebars/Links
A good Web site has:
- Digital photos
- Clear, concise information
- Obvious info (who, what, when, where, why)
- Directions to events
- A sense of purpose, immediacy, or fun
- A way for visitors to communicate with chapters
