Classes Without Quizzes

This program began in 2002, and since then more than 1,000 alumni and friends have participated in this half-day event over the past six years. 

Alumni society volunteers play a key role in determining the topics and speakers for “Classes Without Quizzes.”  This year, a college update from Dean Al Levine was followed by a keynote address entitled “Improving Biofuels:  The Nexus of Policies and Technogies.”  The concurrent

session topics were as varied as they were timely:  “All About Chocolate,” “Trout Stream Health,” “Aging Minnesota,” “Where Did the Bees Go?” “Benefits of Soy,” and “Landscaping Your Shoreline to Protect Water Quality.”   

“Classes Without Quizzes” gives alumni and friends a reason to come back to campus, participate in a lifelong learning program and strengthen their connection to the CFANS community and the U.
