| International Chapter Criteria
Chapter Responsibilities:
Select/elect a board of directors or committee who are preferably members of the Alumni Association
Plan, promote and implement one or more alumni activities per year that support Alumni Association goals, i.e. student scholarship fundraising, student recruitment, mentoring, spirit-raising, etc.
Complete and submit to Alumni Association: A roster of the Chapter Leadership A schedule of events for the year A year end evaluation
Host visiting University dignitaries when possible
Assist in the identification of U of M alumni in the chapter area and forward to Alumni Association
Provide Alumni Association periodic communication (email or surface mail) about the chapter’s activities
Alumni Association Responsibilities:
Provide one list per year of alumni living in the chapter’s mailing area
Provide guidance on organizing the chapter and related events and activities
Provide assistance in linking university faculty or representatives as speakers for chapter events
Provide event packs containing decorations, University literature, and promotional items for events
Provide chapter web site to promote events and activities
Provide Alumni Association Campus Update Videos for use at chapter events
Provide Alumni Association chapter leaders/contacts directory to facilitate communication between chapters
