Mary Endorf, College of Education and Human Development

Well-known and widely respected among alumni who conduct mock interviews with soon-to-be-licensed teachers from the College of Education and Human Development, Mary Endorf has long lent her vision to the college’s alumni society. Despite an extensive career as a teacher, administrator, and teacher educator, she has served six years on the society’s board—as a member of its capital campaign advisory committee, as co-chair of its centennial celebration committee, and, in her last year

of service, as its president.

Most recently, she co-founded and serves as president of the college’s
Women’s Philanthropic Leadership Circle, which raises funds to support
grants for talented female graduate students, pretenured faculty, and staff.
A hallmark of Dr. Endorf’s leadership has been her ability to connect on a
personal level to make students and alumni alike feel valued and respected.
This gift for creating bonds will advance alumni engagement in the college
and University for many years to come.
