About Minnesota
Since 1901, the University of Minnesota's alumni publication's purpose has been -- as editor E.B. Johnson wrote in the first issue September 14, 1901 -- "To make the alumni acquainted with what is going on at the University at all times, and to foster a genuine University spirit among the alumni, by keeping them in touch with the University and each other."
A Note About Minnesota on the Web
Minnesota is at heart a printed magazine sent to members of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. The Alumni Association offers most of the magazine's content online as a service to members and to introduce nonmembers to the magazine. Join the Alumni Association to receive the print edition six times a year and, as the Alumni Association restructures its Web site, return for additional content, including photographs, links, and mulitimedia features.
