Join fellow University of Minnesota alumni and meet Trent Tucker, former Gopher and NBA basketball player at a reception in the Brandenberg Gallery, located in the Chamber of Commerce Building in Luverne.

Tucker lead the Gophers to the 1982 Big Ten title, and played nine years  with the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls, including playing on the Bull's 1993 world championship team with Michael Jordan. He retired as one of the great long-range shooters in NBA history. Tucker recently made headlines with his decision to return to the U to finish his bachelor's degree and recently served as the U of M Community Relations and Youth Development coordinator. Tucker will be the keynote speaker at a gathering of area student-athletes and parents at the Cardinal Gym in Luverne at 7:00 p.m. The public is welcomed to attend. 
 
Also on display will be the Unversity of Minnesota Gopher Wagon, featuring information about  the new TCF Bank Stadium where you can get information about purchasing football tickets and seating priorty in the new football stadium when opens in September 2009.
