It may be the best golf bargain in town-- and it's all for charity. The annual Big Ten Alumni Golf Classic makes its appearance for the fourteenth time on Sunday, October 5th with all the usual trimmings. Your low $80.00 entry fee not only pays for 18 holes of golf with cart at a beautiful San Antonio Area Golf Course, but comes with all the usual special extras. It also includes drink tickets for use on the course and a post tourney buffet. There are multiple prizes and giveaways for each team. Proceeds go to the Alamo Bowl College Scholarship Program.
You don't have to be a Big Ten alum to participate so ask your golfing buddies--male and female-- to enter. Bring an entire team or just yourself. We'll welcome any number! Payment must be received in advance.
Where: Olympia Hills Golf Course, 12900
When: Sunday, October 5th, 2008. Noon Registration. 12:50pm Shotgun Start.
Format:
Cost: Payment in advance $80.00 per player ( includes everything except mulligans) Entry fee is $90.00 when paid on tournament day.
Prizes: Free rounds of golf, Alamo Bowl tickets, restaurant dinners, golf apparel, golf balls.
