Big Ten Greet the Troops at DFW 5/11/2009 The DFW Big Ten Conference Alumni participate in Greeting the Troops at DFW. Golden Gophers Baseball at TCU 3/15/2009 The Golden Gopher baseball team made a spring visit to TCU. Several alumni and friends were there to cheer them on. DFW Big Ten Christmas Soiree - December 6, 2008 12/14/2008 Alumni from several Big Ten Universities had dinner and attended a DSO Christmas Pops concert at the Meyerson in Dallas. Little Brown Jug Game - November 8, 2008 11/25/2008 The University of Michigan Club of Dallas welcomed the Minnesota Alumni - North Texas Chapter to watch this Little Brown Jug game for the fourth straight year. Gopher Wine Tasting - September 13, 2008 10/3/2008 Gopher Alumni learned about and enjoyed several differnet wines while meeting new alumni. 2008 North American Solar Car Challenge 7/14/2008 This event featuring solar cars built by students at several universities began there race from Plano, Texas to Calgary, Canada on July 13th with Minnesota's entry starting in 2nd place behind pole sitter Michigan.
