Regents Plaza
Just east of the Scholars Walk, a new area is taking shape: the Regents Plaza. Adjacent to the Gateway Cafe by D'Amico outdoor eating area, and serving as a link between the Gateway Plaza and the Scholars Walk, the Regents Plaza will feature benches, new landscaping, and the names of the Regents Award recipients.

Like the rest of the Scholars Walk and Gateway Plaza, the Regents Plaza is being built with private funds as a gift to the University.



U of M Regents
Names of University of Minnesota Board of Regents members will be highlighted on the Regents Plaza.


Regents Award Winners
The Regents Award is conferred upon individuals who have contributed to the building and development of the University through significant benefactions, or who have given exceptionally valuable and noteworthy service to the University.
