| Founded in 1968, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication Alumni Society currently has 820 members. All graduates, students, and friends of the school are eligible for active membership in the society.
The society is responsible for a variety of successful initiatives, including:
- Sponsoring the student mentor program
- Providing networking opportunities for alumni
- Honoring students and friends of the college with awards for outstanding service
With every new member, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication Alumni Society is able to offer more programs and services in support of the school and its students.
